Matt Whitecross’ film is a coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of The Stone Roses’ legendary Spike Island gig. Composer Ilan Eshkeri collaborated with his friend Tim Wheeler (Ash) on the score as well as two original songs for the film, which the actors had to learn and perform on screen.
